How to Use the Hyzo Compact Cube 2024

Follow these simple steps to use the Hyzo Compact Cube 2024 for binding documents efficiently:


1. Prepare Your Documents:

  • Arrange the papers in the correct order you want them bound.
  • Ensure the total number of sheets does not exceed 200 (for 80 gsm paper).
  • If needed, use a divider or cover sheet for a professional finish.

2. Adjust the Machine Settings:

  • Use the calibration guide to align the paper size (A4, A5, or smaller).
  • Select the correct binding spine size (5 mm to 25 mm) based on the number of sheets.

3. Punch the Paper:

  • Manual Operation:
    • Place the stack of papers into the punching slot, ensuring they are properly aligned.
    • Pull down the punching handle firmly to create holes.
  • Electric Option (if applicable):
    • Press the power button to activate the electric punching system.
    • Insert the paper and press the punch button.

Tip: For larger stacks, divide them into smaller batches to ensure clean and even punching.


4. Insert the Binding Spine:

  • Place the binding spine (plastic or metal) on the spine holder.
  • Open the comb by pulling the lever or using the opening mechanism.

5. Bind the Papers:

  • Slide the punched papers onto the open spine, starting with the cover sheet if used.
  • Once all pages are loaded, release the comb to close it securely.

6. Final Adjustments:

  • Check that all pages are properly aligned and secured.
  • Trim any overhanging edges if necessary.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning:

  • Empty the punch waste tray regularly to avoid jams.
  • Clean the machine with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris.
